Beach Enclave is where you’ll balance, connect, and explore an entirely new way to stay. Ahead of your arrival please find answers to our guests' most frequent queries about how to plan, what to expect during your stay, and how to make the most of your time in the Turks and Caicos Islands, even after your vacation has come to an end.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE BUTLER?
Your dedicated butler will be in the villa with you throughout your stay and is your main point of contact once you are checked-in. They prepare and serve your continental breakfast in the morning, make snacks and beverages as needed, set up for dining and provide service for in-house meals, tidy common areas, provide laundry service, and can help with any questions or requests that arise.
WHAT ARE THE BUTLER’S HOURS?
The butler arrives at the villa in the morning at your preferred time to serve our in-villa continental breakfast and will remain there until the end of the evening, after dinner service, or when you leave for dinner if you are dining off-property. The butler’s hours are completely flexible to accommodate your schedule and needs. If you prefer more privacy and would like your butler “on call,” this is also an option.
IS THERE A COFFEE MAKER IN THE VILLA?
We have Nespresso machines in each villa and provide a variety of pods complimentary. We also have a regular drip coffee maker and provide ground coffee.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE VILLA AS FAR AS GROCERY ITEMS?
We include salt, pepper, sugar, ground coffee and Nespresso Coffee Pods. All other items will need to be added to your pre-arrival grocery order.
IS GROCERY SHOPPING PROVIDED?
We provide pre-arrival provisioning and require your selections at least 48 hours prior to arrival. Once you are in-house, we also offer daily grocery shopping. You can tell the butler your requests. We charge a 15% service fee in addition to the grocery amount. Provisions are charged to your room bill and settled at the end of your stay.
HOW DO WE SELECT OUR CHEF MENU?
We ask that you choose 1-2 Appetizers, 1 Salad or Soup Course, 1 Main Course, and 1 Dessert for the group. Substitutions can be made as needed to accommodate dietary preferences and allergies. We provide sample menus to be used as a guide. Our private chefs at Beach Enclave have years of training and offer bespoke menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if required. There are also sample menus that you may choose from which include appetizers, salads, soups, entrée, and desserts. Special occasion events can also be arranged along with special dietary restrictions.
CAN I HIRE A PRIVATE CHEF NOT AFFILIATED WITH BEACH ENCLAVE?
For liability reasons, we only allow our trained team of Beach Enclave chefs to cook at our villas.
HOW DOES THE COMPLIMENTARY YOGA WORK?
We offer complimentary yoga at each property, Monday-Saturday. Please let your butler know the night prior if you plan to join, so the instructor can be notified.
IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Beach Enclave is partnered with Royal Transport Services for all of our guest’s transportation needs. We provide one complimentary private arrival transfer, additional transfers required are charged to your room bill and settled at the end of your stay.
IS THERE COMPLIMENTARY WIFI THROUGHOUT THE PROPERTY?
Yes, WiFi high-speed internet access is available in every villa.
IS THERE CELL PHONE COVERAGE AT THE PROPERTY?
Cell phone service is available utilizing a local telecommunications company in TCI. Please be aware that usage rates may be higher than your domestic rates. Your local telephone company may also offer plans when traveling to TCI.
HOW DO I FIND MY DRIVER AT THE AIRPORT
Transfer representatives are not allowed in the airport terminal, so after you obtain your bags and clear customs, please proceed outside. Once outside, look for the people in the light blue uniform shirts. Please provide your name and let them know that you are going to Beach Enclave. They will have you on a list and will phone our driver(s) to pull up to the arrivals area for collection. Our drivers will be in Escalade SUVS (usually burgundy colored), and the company name is Royal Transport Services (649
232 1921). If you have any issues finding your driver, please call me right away. (I am available on Whatsapp, accessible by Wi-Fi, if your phones do not have service + 1 649 333 1625)
SHOULD I RENT A CAR?
If you are planning on doing a lot of off property dining and activities, renting a car usually ends up to be more economical than taking transfers. Please keep in mind that in Turks and Caicos, we drive on the left-hand side.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO ENTER TURKS AND CAICOS?
There are currently no COVID-19 related travel restrictions in Turks and Caicos. You will require a passport that is valid for 6 months from your date of entry.
WHAT IS THE CURRENCY IN THE TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS?
The United States Dollar (US$) is the official currency of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
ARE PLUG ADAPTERS REQUIRED?
The power plug sockets are of type A and B in Turks and Caicos, the same as used in the United States. The standard voltage is 120 V and the frequency is 60 Hz. Adaptors are not required if traveling from other countries. Adaptors can be purchased locally if needed.
DO WE NEED TO BRING A SPEAKER FOR MUSIC?
The villas are equipped with Sonos surround sound both indoors and outside. The Sonos app can be downloaded on to your smartphone. Please be advised that all Beach Enclave properties are family friendly, a strict noise ordinance is in place and outdoor music must cease at 10pm EST.
DOES THE HOUSE HAVE A WASHER AND DRYER?
Each villa is equipped with a full laundry room. The butler will assist you with your laundry needs.
IS DRINKING WATER PROVIDED?
Each villa is equipped with a 5 gallon water dispenser with filtered, purified drinking water which can be refilled if required.
WHAT TOILETRIES ARE INCLUDED?
In each bathroom we provide full size, Le Labo brand toiletries from France (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion).
WHEN IS CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT?
Check-in time is after 3:00 pm on day of arrival and check-out is by 11:00 am on day of departure. Early arrivals or late departures may incur additional charges.
IS THE TAP WATER SAFE FOR DRINKING?
While tap water is safe for drinking, purified water is also provided in the water cooler in every villa.
IS HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES INCLUDED?
We provide twice-daily housekeeping services, and service times can be coordinated with your butler.
WHAT DOES THE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST CONSIST OF?
The included breakfast consists of freshly baked pastries, assorted fruit, coffee and tea. Your butler can assist with preparing other basic breakfast items (eggs/toast) if you add the ingredients to your grocery order form.
DOES THE PROPERTY HAVE A GYM?
All Beach Enclave properties have a gym with Peloton equipment, aerobic machines and free weights.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE EVENT OF A HURRICANE PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL?
In the event that guests are unable to arrive as scheduled due to flight cancellations or property closure, guests may elect to arrive within 30 days after the storm has passed for the same number of nights without an increase in the nightly rate. Please read our full hurricane policy here.
DO YOU HAVE ON-SITE DINING?
Available at Beach Enclave North Shore is our newly opened Bluff Bar and Restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine, beers on tap, and specialty cocktails. Guests staying at Beach Enclave Grace Bay and Beach Enclave Long Bay can dine here also. Guests can also opt for an exotic culinary experience right at your Beach Enclave villa. Let these local top Chefs prepare the flavors of the island for you and your guests and serve them on your private beach or villa patio. Enhance your meal with the sounds of a local musician. Consider this the ultimate Turks and Caicos dining adventure.
ARE THERE ANY ACTIVITES FOR KIDS/TEENS?
In addition to the kids' playroom at Beach Enclave Grace Bay, children and teens can enjoy a host of fun activities. These activities can be arranged through our concierge. Please read our list of kids' activities here.
SHOULD I PRE-BOOK ACTIVITIES FOR MY STAY, AND WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

CAN I ARRANGE TO HAVE MY WEDDING OR RENEWAL OF VOWS CEREMONY AT BEACH ENCLAVE?

DO YOU OFFER EXECUTIVE MEETINGS AND CORPORATE RETREATS?

DOES THE RESORT OFFER PRIVATE BABYSITTING SERVICES?
At Beach Enclave we do offer private babysitting services. These services are available from Monday through Sunday 9 AM – 5 PM, at a cost of US$30 per hour for up to 3 children. Our babysitters are fully licensed, well-trained, and are wonderful with children.
- $32/hour for up to 3 children 12 and under.
- $5 for each additional child OR another babysitter at the regular hourly wage may be required.
- A $20 transportation fee exists for each babysitting service.
- Holidays add $10/hour.
ARE BABY SUPPLIES AVAILABLE?
Beach Enclave can provide a crib at a cost of US$50 per night. Highchairs and pack and plays can also be obtained at an additional charge.
DOES BEACH ENCLAVE PROVIDE CRIBS?
Yes, Beach Enclave can provide cribs at a cost of US$50 per day.
ARE POOL FLOATS PROVIDED?
Beach Enclave do not provide pool floats, however, we can purchase floats if you add this request to your pre-arrival shopping list.

We are happy to look into the availability of specific villas for future visits and recommend that guests contact us as early as possible.

CAN WE ARRANGE FOR A ROLLAWAY BED TO BE PLACED IN THE VILLA ON ARRIVAL?
Beach Enclave can provide additional rollaway beds, at a charge of US$50 per bed per night.
WHAT IS SUGGESTED GRATUITY FOR STAFF?
A 10% service charge fee is added to the rate, a portion of which is distributed to the employees. Additional tipping is at the guests’ discretion however, we recommend the following:
$150-$200 per day for Butler
$100 per day for Chef
$25-$30 per day for Housekeeping
$25-30 per day for Pool and Beach staff

DOES BEACH ENCLAVE ACCEPT DOGS ON PROPERTY?
Guests wishing to bring a dog to the island of Turks and Caicos requires pre-authorization from the
Turks and Caicos Islands Government. There are a number of breeds that are not permitted into the
country. Please contact the Turks and Caicos Islands Government Department of Agriculture via email at
agriculture@gov.tc for more information.
Beach Enclave also needs to approve any requests for guests traveling with dogs. If pre-approval is not
given before arrival, dogs will not be permitted on the property. Dogs must be 25lbs or less in weight
and a US$1000 deposit is required upon booking along with a US$200 per night deep cleaning fee.
